Resuming the NBA Season, Scott Merkin Interview (Sports Talk Chicago / WCKG 5-27-20)

Jon Zaghloul

On today’s show, I break down the NBA’s plan to resume the 2019-20 season, which involves all future games being played at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. Although encouraging news at the outset, important details still have to be worked out, and player safety should be the Association’s top priority. I also catch up with Scott Merkin, Chicago White Sox Beat Writer for MLB.com! We discuss Major League Baseball’s current labor dispute, and whether we’ll see some sort of season come this summer. We also talked about the White Sox rebuild, its progression over the years, and his expectations for the team in 2020. Later in the show, Scott reflects on his amazing sports media career and even reveals his favorite episode of Seinfeld!
