MLB Salary Dispute, Teddy Greenstein Interview (Sports Talk Chicago / WCKG 5-14-20)

Jon Zaghloul

On today’s show, I address the MLB’s monetary dispute in lieu of the 2020 season. The owners, in this case, should be more empathetic towards the players, and therefore, pay their pro-rated salaries instead of offering up a 50-50 revenue split. Later in the show, I caught up with Teddy Greenstein, sports columnist at the Chicago Tribune and BBWAA member! We discussed
The Last Dance, his best ’90s Bulls memory, and the series’ depiction of Jerry Krause. We also analyzed the Bears’ quarterback competition, and his belief that Mitchell Trubisky has the potential to be a top-15 NFL quarterback. In addition, we touched on Chicago’s reluctance to open public golf courses, and Teddy shares a story about the best round of golf he’s ever played!
